In my opinion.
FF3/6, Chrono Trigger, Mario RPG, and a bunch of other games contribute to this.

Old school Super Mario games were fun. Not sure about the new ones since I haven't played em.

lol i actually am playing mario RPG(downloaded) for the computer its really fun i also got final fantasy 2 =)
