I am a fan of both, but if you were to compare the most recent pokemon to the most recent digimon, digimon owns pokemon.
I mean seriously, how many more pokemon can they make, they arent very good any more. Plus the new voice actors SUCK.
But digimon has alot of cool effects and transforming and evolving stuff.
But speaking of the begining to the end pokemon is better
